I see this being called the 'Fourth Branch of the Mabinogion'. I thought it was the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi, rather. Isn't the 'Mabinogion' the name given to the larger, inorganic collection of eleven tales, rather than the relatively unified Four Branches? I was taught that the 'Mabinogion' has tales, not branches, while the Mabinogi (the name used in four and only four of the texts has Branches (four of which have survived, though there is no proof that there may not have been more). Thank you for explaining this to me!
