Subscribe to The New Issue

The New Issue is a quarterly magazine, which contains real stories – beautifully told. All profits from sales of the publication go back into support the people who sell Big Issue North on the streets.

Leave a legacy

One way that you can ensure our work continues long into the future is by remembering the Big Issue North Trust when you write your will. Leaving a legacy – no matter how small – is a simple and effective way of supporting our work.

Whether you’re taking part in a run, jumping out of plane or doing anything else to raise sponsorship for us, send us an email to let us know, and we will do everything we can to support and promote your event.

    Why is it that are the majority of sellers along the A6 are shown as men? In those towns on Thursdays, it is usual in New Mills,Disley, Chapel en-le Frith, Whaley Bridge that the Big Issue sellers are dominated women. In Disley the woman travel to Disley by train in the morning. Their pitch is outside of the Co-op. They leave by train late afternoon. The women sellers who sell in New Mills, Whaley Bridge and Buxton work similarly - Summer and Winter! Buxton
