The Blinders.
What’s your best festival memory?
Benicassim 2013. On a pedalo. Off me rocker.
What are your festival essentials?
Can of deodorant and a menthol cigarette. Someone once told us it’s called a Birkenhead shower. We’ve honoured that ever since.
How does playing a festival differ from playing your own gig?
There’s a vibrancy at festivals you can’t recreate. People just loosen up, you know?
What are you planning for your Cotton Clouds set?
Rock ‘n’ roll, midgets and confetti cannons. We’re playing on the Jimmy’s stage – anything could happen. We’re doing a headline show at Jimmy’s too, 6 October.
