Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation
Plus Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder
The newest instalment of the Tom Cruise-led stuntfests hits screens this week with Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. From dangling off the side of planes to claustrophobic swimming, furious motorcycle chases to insane car jumps, this latest spy flick pulls no punches as Ethan (Cruise) and the team must save the reputation of the Impossible Mission Forces against a secretive order of assassins.
With just as explosive results there is the humorously titled Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder, a slapstick kids adventure based on the book series of the same name by acclaimed Norwegian crime writer Jo Nesbo. Channelling Roald Dahl and David Walliams’ book-to-screen adaptations, the film is ideal for kids over the holidays. Parents may enjoy it too, but if you’re a fan of Nesbo’s other work you may be disappointed to find the only crime here is whoever smelt it, dealt it.
