The Head
The Atlanta rock band release their new full length album Space to coincide with an extensive run of shows
What informs your music and songwriting?
Experiences on the road, relationships, books and experimenting with new sounds/ideas together in our rehearsal space.
How have you evolved as an act over the years?
We’ve learned to throw everything we have into our songs and performances. We’ve also learned to treat the stage as an opportunity to let loose and be ourselves regardless of the number of people in the audience.
What are you up to at the moment artistically?
When we’re not touring, we’re constantly writing and recording new music. We also have some new music videos we plan on releasing soon.
What’s on your rider?
We don’t have a rider.
Tell us your most embarrassing or surreal experience.
We almost got robbed by an old lady in Beaumont, TX. We cornered in a parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts.
What song do you wish you’d written?
There She Goes – The La’s.
What’s your worst lyric?
That’s for the listener to decide.
